Le VespaCatch trap de Veto Pharma consists of a container, a lid with inlet wells, a tunnel and a fixing hook. The attractant is sold separately by bottle of 1L or box of 100 sticks. The trap is composed of a cover pierced with two entrance wells. The lid is covered with a tunnel to concentrate odors and prevent the escape of trapped insects.

Tips for using the Vespacatch trap
Mix in the trap:

- 10 mL of attractant (sold separately or in the pack “12 Asian hornet traps + Box of 100 sticks of 10 mL of attractant”)
- 200 mL of water
- 50 g sugar
At saturation or 3 weeks after implementation, renew the attractive solution.

How to use
Traps near places where hornets pass (beehives, swimming pools, terraces, stalls, trees, etc.)
- Traps hanging from a branch (1,5 to 3 meters from the ground)
- Close to the flight boards: on the ground or on a support
Number of traps depending on the number of hornets per hive
- 2 hornets per hive = 1 trap for 2 hives
- 3 to 5 hornets per hive = 1 trap per hive
- 5 hornets per hive = 3 traps for 2 hives
How to use the product
- It takes a few hours for the traps to capture hornets
- If the traps are not capturing hornets, it may be useful to reposition them
- It is recommended to trap when the daily maximum temperatures exceed 15 ° C
- It is recommended to trap in the areas of passage of the Asian hornet
- For better efficiency, do not clean the trap when renewing the solution
- When renewing the attractant, it is advisable to leave a dead hornet in the trap
For added effectiveness, use with VespaCatch attractant (sold separately)
A 1 liter bottle of attractant allows the filling of 100 VespaCatch traps (dilute 10ml of attractant with 200ml of water + 50g of sugar)
