Fiprokil is an anitparasitic which intervenes in the treatment of infestations by studs (Ctenocephalides spp.) and ticks (Dermacentor reticulatus). efficiency insecticide against new infestations by adult fleas persists for up to 8 weeks.
The effectiveness acaricide of this antiparasitic persists for up to 4 weeks against ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor reticulatus). If ticks of certain species (Rhipicephalus sanguineus and Ixodes ricinus) are present when the product is applied, they may not all be killed in the first 48 hours, but may be during the first week.
The product can be integrated into a therapeutic program for the treatment of Flea Bite Hypersensitivity Dermatitis (DHPP) if it has been previously diagnosed by the veterinarian.
What is the best flea treatment?

How to use
Apply the product directly to the skin according to the weight of the animal, as follows:
1 pipette of 2,68 ml for a dog weighing between 20 kg and 40 kg.
Regimen :
To effectively control infestations by fleas and/or ticks, the treatment regimen can take into account the local epidemiological situation. In the absence of safety studies, the minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks.
External use only
- Detach a pipette and hold it upright. Gently tap the narrow part of the pipette to ensure that the content has descended into the central part of the pipette.
- Break off the breakable end of the spot-on pipette along the engraved line.
- Part the animal's hair until the skin is visible.
- Place the pipette tip directly on the skin.
- Squeeze gently several times to completely empty the contents of the pipette in one or two points along the back.
Be sure to apply the product to an area that the animal cannot lick it off and ensure that animals will not lick each other after treatment.
Do not apply an excessive amount of product on the same spot to prevent the bristles from becoming sticky. However, if this occurs, the stickiness will disappear within 24 hours after application.
Precautions for use
In animals
Animals should be weighed accurately before treatment. Avoid contact with the animal's eyes. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, wash the eyes immediately with plenty of water. Do not apply the product on damaged skin. Be sure to apply the product to an area that the animal cannot lick it off and ensure that animals do not lick each other after treatment.
In the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to the animals
This product may cause irritation to mucous membranes and eyes. Therefore any contact of the product with the mouth or eyes should be avoided. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, wash the eyes immediately with plenty of water. If eye irritation persists, seek medical advice immediately and show the package leaflet or the label to the physician. Avoid touching the contents of the pipette with your fingers. If this happens, wash your hands with soap and water.
Wash hands after use. Do not smoke, drink or eat during application. Animals or users with known hypersensitivity to fipronil or to any of the excipients (see section “List of excipients”) should avoid all contact with the product. Until the application site is dry, treated animals should not be handled and children should not be allowed to play with treated animals. It is therefore recommended not to treat the animals during the day but rather in the early evening, and not to let the animals which have just been treated sleep with their masters, especially with children.
