ADVANTIX – Anti-fleas and Anti-ticks – Antiparasitic treatment – Large Dog – 25 to 40 kg – 4 mL – 6 pipettes – ELANCO

Before starting this treatment we advise you to administer the CAPSTAR 57 mg (according to the weight of your animal) For kill the chips present on your pet in less than 1 hour.

Advantix Large dog is a flea control in the form of pipettes for use in spot-on , promising eliminate fleas and ticks, with repellent effect for ticks, mosquitoes, sandflies and stable flies.

For ticks, the product has persistent acaricidal and repellent efficacy for 4 weeks. Ticks already present on the dog at the time of treatment may not be killed for 2 days after treatment is given and may remain attached and visible. Also it is recommended to remove the ticks present during the application of the antiparasitic treatment.

Fleas on the dog are killed in 24 hours who are undergoing treatment. Advantix is a flea repellent that prevents re-infestations by fleas for 4 weeks. The drug can be integrated into a therapeutic program for Allergic Flea Bite Dermatitis (DAPP).

Against mosquitoes, sandflies and sandflies one treatment ensures repulsive activity during 2 at 4 weeks.

What is the best flea treatment?

How to radically eliminate fleas?

Avoid flea infestation: A preventive treatment on your pet can prevent rather than cure.

How to find a nest of fleas?

Composition

1 pipette of 4 ml contains:

- Imidacloprid …………………………………. 400 mg

- Permethrin …………………………………. 2 mg

- Butylhydroxytoluene (E321) ……………… .4.0 mg

- Excipients ………………………………… .qsp 4.0 ml

How to use

Cutaneous application only.

The minimum recommended dose is:

10 mg per kg of body weight of imidacloprid and 50 mg per kg of body weight of permethrin.

(ie 1 pipette)

1- Take a pipette out of the packaging.
2- Hold the pipette upright, rotate and remove the cap.

3- Place the cap, upside down, on the pipette and turn it to perforate the pipette, then remove the cap.

4- Keep the dog in an upright position to facilitate application.

5- Apply the contents of the Advantix pipette by distributing the solution evenly in 4 points located on the back line, from the shoulders to the base of the tail.

Do not treat puppies under the age of 7 weeks and weighing less than 1,5 kg.The product can be used during pregnancy and lactation.

The treatment remains effective if the animal is wet.

However, avoid intense and prolonged exposure to water.

With repeated exposure to water, the holdover time may be reduced.

In this case, an interval of one week must be respected between two applications. In case it is necessary to wash the dog with shampoo, it is recommended to do so before application of the drug or at least two weeks after, to ensure satisfactory effectiveness of the drug.

Advantix ® is a veterinary medicinal product.

Read the package leaflet and instructions carefully before use. Ask your veterinary animal health professional/pharmacist for advice. If symptoms persist, consult your veterinarian.

Destination species: Dog.

Indications: : fleas, ticks, biting lice, mosquitoes, sand flies, stable flies, reduced risk of canine ehrlichiosis and leishmaniasis.

Contraindications: Do not use in cats.

Precautions for use: Wash hands thoroughly after application. Avoid contact with the animal until the application site is dry. VGPR 06/2021.
