Le VespaCatch Asian Hornet Trap from VetoPharma was tested in Portugal over a period of 15 days, the results are as follows:
- 2,3 times more Asian hornets were caught using the Tap-trap® trap
- 5,7 times more Asian hornets have been caught in the face of a homemade trap

- Mix in the trap:
- 10 mL of attractant
- 200 mL of water
- 50 g sugar
When hornets are saturated or 3 weeks after application, renew the attractive solution.

How to use
Mix in the VespaCatch trap:
- 10 ml VespaCatch attractant
- 200 ml of water
- 50 g sugar
When the hornets are saturated or 3 weeks after installation, renew the solution without rinsing the bowl of the trap.
Positioning the traps near the places where the hornets pass (hives, swimming pools, terraces, displays, trees, etc.):
- In height: traps suspended from a branch (1,5 to 3 meters from the ground)
- Close to the flight boards: on the ground or on a support
How to use it:
- It takes a few hours for the traps to capture hornets.
- If the traps do not catch a hornet, it may help to reposition them.
- It is recommended to trap when maximum daily temperatures exceed 15°C.
- It is recommended to trap in areas where the Asian hornet passes.
- For better efficiency, do not clean the trap when renewing the solution.
- When renewing the attractant, it is advisable to leave a dead hornet in the trap.
