The nourishing, water-resistant formula of Dermoscent BIO BALM cheval, based on bio-certified ingredients, is specifically designed to reduce the cutaneous dryness. This balm is suitable for dry skins and other thickened areas.
It protects and helps soothe areas prone to friction or weakened by a muddy environment (guns, pasterns).
Is it right for my pet
- Areas subject to friction (harness area, etc.): before and after each exercise during periods of intense activity (races, etc.)
- Muddy environment: thanks to its occlusive properties, Dermoscent BIO BALM cheval offers a protective barrier against the deleterious effects of a muddy, humid environment, etc.
The veterinarian's opinion
The term " mud mange » is a generic term to describe skin conditions of the lower limbs in cheval. In fact, several pathologies are grouped under this name:
- The crevices
- Fungal infections
- Chorioptic mange
- Awareness reactions on hairless areas or balzanes
- True mud itch or dermatophilosis which is a bacterial infection observed mainly in humid areas
The nourishing formula of Dermoscent BIO BALM help repair crevices not infected. Its occlusive properties also make it possible to protect limbs during a stay in a damp meadow. This balm is therefore effective in certain cases of “ ball itch ».
