Ekygard+ AUDEVARD is a food supplement for horses in the form of palatable granules intended for protected of the mucosa of stomach.

At the horses, the gastric mucosa is often affected by the very acidic environment of the stomach, especially in the event of effort or stress. This acidity can affect the living comfort of horses, the assimilation of their ration and of course their performance. These critical periods require specific nutritional support.

Ekygard+ offers triple protection against gastric acidity thanks to its complete formula containing a new complex of vegetable origin:

Pectigard Complex® (pectin-lecithin)
magnesium hydroxide
plant extracts

When Ekygard+ – Gastric protection – Acidity – Horse – 6 kg – AUDEVARD comes into contact with the gastric mucosa, a dense, thick and protective colloidal gel is formed. The fibers (Laminaria and Ispaghul) adhere to the mucous membrane and promote the cohesion of pectin and lecithin. Glycerin and bentonite clay reinforce this protective layer for an optimized result.

Better protected, the mucous membrane heals more easily. This action is reinforced by the soothing effect of Green Anise and Marshmallow and the healing effect of Aloe vera and Licorice.

Additionally, Sodium Bicarbonate reacts with hydrochloric acid in the stomach to buffer and limit acidity.
