Kaopectate is an adjuvant treatment for diarrhea in calves, foals, lambs, piglets, dogs and cats.
Kaopectate contains Kaolin allowing the absorption of toxins of bacterial origin and organic acids resulting from a maldigestion. It thus prevents the flow of water and electrolytes into the intestinal lumen. There pectin protects the intestinal mucosa and slows digestive transit.
Available in Kaopectate version in 480 ml.
