We answer your questions
What do you call a dog that eats its poop?
As stated above, a dog or cat eating its poop is a practice called coprophagia.
What is coprophagia?
What a barbaric name to illustrate a behavior that seems to be just as barbaric. It is neither more nor less than the fact of ingesting these feces in dogs or cats. This process can have a very negative effect on your pet.
How to stop coprophagia?
The Ascopet is one. Not pooping anymore is not one. Education is one too. The latter is simple, prevent your dog or cat from eating its excrement with “Leashes”, Sitting”,…. to give you time to pick them up.
Why are dogs coprophagous?
No, it's not out of appetite. This is usually due to the presence of internal parasites, intestinal problems or even anxiety.
Ascopet is a product 100% natural made from seaweed Ascophyllum nodosun, harvested in Norwegian waters.
It presents a special profile amino acids and a complex of trace elements whoseiodine

My bitch at 3 months, I had her when she was two months old.
From the first outings she ate all the feces she found!
Until she came across a very fresh and human one, she was in her head !! A horror !
Then I paid more attention to what she was sniffing and after 15 days of adoption, I went to the vet for her 3 month vaccine.
She offered me this natural product, telling me that if the bitch was part of the small percentage that loves excrement, it would be complicated but not infeasible.
After 15 days of treatment, there is much better, she still sniffs but it throws a lot less on everything she finds!
Importantly, I increased the weight of her croquettes by 40gr days I went to 60gr days and even she tends to snack less on everything in the apartment!
I'm waiting for the full 8 weeks of treatment, and I'm not letting go of the leash and supervision :)
IMPORTANT THING: I MIX THE POWDER WITH KONG PASTE BOMB OR ANY OTHER BRAND, I MAKE A SMALL BALL THAT I PUT IN THE FRIDGE FOR THE NEXT DAY AND SOMETIMES IN THE FREEZER IT MAKES IT LONGER.
SHE LOOKS NOW!

Can we mix ascopet with the dog's drink? We tried to put it with its croquettes but it tends not to eat its dish when there is powder in it. Maybe this dilutes better in water ?? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hello
From how many days of treatment will the effectiveness be felt, whether in terms of coprophagia or the smell of flatulence?
My dog has been taking the product for 5 days, but obviously there is no effect at this stage.
Thank you for your information

It takes several days before you see an effect and it can be because of the diet.

super effective treatment on an elderly pug. Usually in a large house it was unlivable; both in terms of breath and gas. Tested over a week in a motorhome! impeccable! we finally breathe! phew!
