The AspiVenin® pump is to be used in 4 steps:
- Place the correct tip in the puncture and location on the pump. Arm the pump by pulling the plunger fully (halfway for a child)
- Place the AspiVenin® pump on the bite / sting
- Push the plunger all the way in and at the end of the stroke you will feel a powerful suction. You then let the ASPIVENIN® pump act for 20 seconds to 3 minutes (adapt the suction time according to the stings or bites, refer to the instructions for use). This period can be extended or renewed without inconvenience, especially in serious cases.
- Then lift the plunger button with the tip of your thumb to remove the ASPIVENIN® pump. We advise you to handle your anti-venom pump before using it by consulting the instructions. We also advise you to keep it close at hand if you find yourself in a risky environment.
For maximum effectiveness of the ASPIVENIN® anti-venom pump, it is recommended to use it within 3 minutes of the sting/bite and to respect the aspiration times indicated.
The pump AspiVenom® is a first aid gesture, it does not replace consultation with a doctor.
The pump AspiVenom® can be used on any person victim of a poisonous sting or bite and on all parts of the body except the eyelids, mucous membranes, genitals and eardrums.
