Lactomuscle is a complementary food for the muscle support opportunities, horses. It can be distributed daily at a rate of 30 ml or before a major effort 60 ml directly into the mouth of the animal. Intake of sodium citrate.
During exercise, the appearance of H+ ions in the muscles and in the blood modifies the pH andacid-base balance, leading to disturbances in muscle contractions and in the production of energy in the form of ATP (Adenosine TriPhosphate).
The body naturally has buffer molecules (bicarbonates, phosphates, etc.) allowing it to maintain the acid-base balance.
