Povidone iodine is commonly used to disinfect the skin areas.
Povidum Scrub – Audevard is used as a disinfectant soap in external application.
The formula Povidum Scrub – Audevard contains povidone iodine 7,5% on a foaming base. This stable formulation is neutral for skin and mucous membranes.
Tip:
Do not use with a product derived from mercury.
An effective disinfectant to cure the horse is Povidone. Povidum Scrub is the equivalent of Betadine red. Disinfectant soap has a dual cleaning and disinfectant function.
How to disinfect a horse's wound?
Clean the wound area thoroughly, shave hair to avoid bacteria build-up, dry the area, and disinfect the wound with Solution.
How do you know if a horse wound is infected?
An infected wound is characterized by swelling of the area, pain (tenderness), and redness. An infected wound can trigger suppuration, delayed healing and infection deeper in the body.

Contains 5 to 15% anionic surfactants. Contains biocidal products:
- Povidone iodine (CAS n°25655-41-8, TP03) 7,5%,
- 1,6-Bis (N5-[p-chlorophenyl]-N1-biguanido) hexane (CAS n°18472-51-0, TP03) 0,005%,
- excipients qsp 100%.
How to use
EXTERNAL ROUTE ONLY
1- Wet the area and apply Povidum Scrub.
2- Soap for 3 minutes, ensuring the persistence of the orange-brown color.
3- Rinse with water then apply Povidium Solution.
