Product Description:
PRONEFRA – Kidney failure – 180 ml – Virbac
PRONEFRA is a complementary food intended to maintain thekidney function balance at the chat and dog, this product may not be suitable for certain elderly or medically treated animals with a sensitivity digestive specific to their state of health. In case of regurgitation, it is advisable as a precaution to temporarily reduce the recommended quantity of product for a few days, and to consult your veterinarian if this regurgitation persists.
PRONEFRA contains 5 ingredients:
- Calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate which decrease the availability of dietary phosphorus by chelation in the intestine
- Chitosan which allows the chelation of uremic toxins in the intestines is known as a chelator of uremic toxins in the intestines
- Coconut oil and olive oil which replace miglyol and further improve digestibility and palatability for cats
- The oligopeptides of marine origin which contribute to the maintenance of a balanced blood pressure

Shake the bottle well before each use.
A slight sedimentation is normal.
Administer twice a day with food or close to meals using the dosing syringe:
- Cat: 1 mL/4 kg twice daily
- Dog: 1 mL/5 kg twice daily
- Shake the bottle well
- Unscrew the white cap to open the bottle
- Screw and open the blue cap
- Insert syringe
- Invert the vial and fill the syringe
- Return the vial to an upright position before removing the syringe
- Mix the product with food / 8bis: or directly in the mouth
- Close the bottle and rinse the syringe with clear water
Leave water available at all times.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
PRONEFRA may not be suitable for certain elderly animals or animals undergoing medical treatment, presenting a particular digestive sensitivity related to their state of health.
In case of regurgitation, it is recommended to reduce the recommended dose for a few days and to consult your veterinarian if the regurgitation persists.
Store in a dry place, at room temperature, even after opening.
The product can freeze at low temperature, but returns to its original appearance after a few hours at room temperature, without this affecting the quality of the product.
After opening, use within 2 months for the 60 ml bottle and within 6 months for the 180 ml bottle
