Fiprokil Duo – 50 mg / 60 mg – Fleas and ticks – Cat – 4 pipettes – CLÉMENT THÉKAN

Before starting this treatment we advise you to administer the CAPSTAR 11.4 mg to kill fleas on your pet in less than 1 hour.

For use against infestations with fleas alone or mixed infestations with studs and ticks.

Studs : Treatment and prevention of infestations by studs (Ctenocephalides felis). An app prevents any new infestation for 5 weeks. Prevention of flea multiplication for 12 weeks after application, by preventing the development of eggs by studs adults.
ticks : Treatment of infestations by ticks (Ixodes ricinus and Rhipicephalus turanicus). After one application, the effectiveness acaricide persists for a week. If ticks are present at the time of application, they may not all be killed within 48 hours.

At the Cats, Fiprokil Duo is to be used against infestations by fleas alone or mixed infestations by fleas and ticks.

An application of Fiprokil Duo Chat prevents any new infestation during 5 weeks.

How to use

The minimum recommended dose is 8.3 mg fipronil per kg body weight and 10 mg pyriproxyfen per kg body weight.

For a cat weighing at least 1 kg and up to 6 kg, apply a 0.5 ml pipette per cat.

For a cat weighing more than 6 kg, a recommended dose of 1 ml can be applied, by administering a pipette of 1 ml.

Precautions for use

In animals

For external use only. Do not administer orally.
Animals should be weighed accurately before treatment.
In the absence of data, the product should not be used in cats under 10 weeks of age or weighing less than 1 kg.
Avoid contact with the animal's eyes. In case of accidental eye contact, flush eyes with water.
Be sure to apply the product correctly as described in the “Dosage and route of administration” section. Do not apply the product on a wound or other skin lesion. It is important to ensure that the product is applied directly to an area of dry skin that the animal cannot lick off and that animals do not lick each other after treatment.
The use of the product has not been studied in sick or debilitated animals. The use of the product in sick or debilitated animals should only be done after evaluation of the benefit/risk ratio established by the veterinarian.
In the absence of additional safety studies, the minimum interval between two treatments should be 4 weeks.

In the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to the animals

The product can cause nervous disorders. The product may be toxic if swallowed.
Avoid ingesting the product or putting your hand in your mouth after use. Avoid contact with skin or mouth. Do not smoke, drink or eat while applying the product. Wash hands after use. In the event of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice immediately and show the package leaflet or the packaging to the physician. In case of accidental skin contact, immediately wash the affected area with water. Do not touch or allow children to play with treated animals until application site is dry. It is therefore recommended not to treat animals during the day but rather in the early evening and once treated animals should not be allowed to sleep with their masters, especially children. Keep pipettes in their original packaging and dispose of them immediately after use in an appropriate manner.
