Anti-Tartar Properties

Prozym Chew Strips are selected pieces of beef skin, cleaned, cut into strips, cooked and covered with an appetizing coating based on chicken and beef flavor. They are particularly appreciated by dogs and effectively stimulate their natural chewing reflex.

Anti-dental plaque

These coverslips are covered with a coating containing a whey concentrate, a source of lactoperoxidase and potassium thiocyanate which are involved in the synthesis of the hypothiocyanite ion. This ion, as well as the lactoferrin and the lysozyme contained in the whey, exert a bacteriostatic action on the germs incriminated in the formation of dental plaque.

Long chewing:

Regular chewing of Lamelles Prozym has a mechanical cleaning effect on dental surfaces, which reduces the formation of dental plaque and tartar. Mastication also stimulates saliva secretion that contains natural defense elements against plaque germs.
