La Spirulina is a blue-green algae cultivated for its exceptional nutritional properties.

It is very rich in vegetable proteins high quality: it has between 60 and 70% (or twice as much as soy!).

It contains 8 amino acids non-essential and essential (which cannot be produced by the body): isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, valine. There Spirulina accounts for numerous vitamins : vitamin A (beta carotene: 15 times more than carrots), B group vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B8, B9, B12), vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin K, etc.

It is also a source of minerals,trace elements,omega 6,antioxidants, and pigments (chlorophyll (detox power), phycocyanin (stimulates the immune system, carotenoids (antioxidant), polysaccharides (easily absorbed carbohydrates without an insulin peak which normally accompanies the absorption of carbohydrates).

Pure Spirulina is particularly recommended for horses in training, horses lacking muscle mass, mares, foals and yearlings thanks to the supply of vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

Pure Spirulina can also be recommended for horses needing immune support thanks to vitamin A and the pigment phynocyanine.
