Cosequin DS Dog is a complementary food designed to preserve the integrity of the articular cartilage which is a fundamental element in maintaining the locomotor abilities and comfort of life of the animal, particularly in elderly dogs, or in cases of obesity.

Cosequin DS Dog is palatable to dogs and can be given to animals as a reward or added directly to food.

Cosequin DS Dog is a patented formula based on chondroitin sulfate as well as glucosamine highly assimilable, which ensures excellent bioavailability.

Cosequin DS Dog is composed of two 4 main agents:

• Glucosamine (amino sugar precursor of GAG) : Stimulates the production of proteoglycans and collagen by chondrocytes.
• Chondroitin sulfate (GAG) : Stimulates the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans (GAG) and collagen. Decreases the production and inhibits the activity of certain inflammatory mediators.
• Manganese: Cofactor for the synthesis of chondroitin sulfate.
• Hyaluronic acid
