Apibioxal: Treatment of varroasis due to Varroa destructor sensitive to oxalic acid – 35 g sachet

APIBIOXAL is a soluble acaricidal powder based onoxalic acid to fight against Varroa. 

Oxalic acid, the active ingredient in API-BIOXAL, is a component natural du miel and its concentration in honey depends on the botanical foraging environment. It is also one of the most common and the best natural acaricides. He's more effective on colonies en period off brood. 

This product is a winter treatment.

If the hives are heavily infected, first drip with oxalic acid with theApibioxal ou Oxybee. This treatment will only eliminate “phoretic mites” and not mites in the closed brood! It does, however, help to decrease the pressure of the varroa.

Then do a treatment with Apiguard 1 tray 2 x 2 weeks then at the end of December for example make another drip with Apibioxal ou Oxybee if possible without brood.

 WARNING, for products Oxybee et Apiguard it is necessary to be very careful with the temperatures, to read well the leaflet of the drug for an optimal use. Bees do not like the smell of Thymol and essential oils, so be careful with the heat, the product should not evaporate too quickly. 

If the hives are moderately infected and if the temperatures allow immediate treatment with Apiguard, Varromed ou Apilife Var and in December a dripping with Oxybee and Apibioxal.
